Mark A. Constantino Judicial Center – St. George, Staten Island, NYC

As the general contractor for the renovation and restoration of the Mark A. Constantino Judicial Center in St. George, Staten Island, we led a comprehensive modernization of this nine‑story civic facility, which houses the Richmond County District Attorney’s Office, the Staten Island County Clerk, and several other essential court functions. Delivered for the NYC Department of Design and Construction (DDC) on behalf of the Department of Citywide Administrative Services (DCAS), this project ensures the long‑term performance, safety, and functionality of a building that plays a critical role in the borough’s justice system.

The renovation included a full restoration of the building’s façade, featuring the installation of new parapets and the construction of a new bulkhead tower. A state‑of‑the‑art roofing system was installed across multiple roof levels, designed to improve drainage and backed by a 20‑year leak‑free guarantee. Structural upgrades to steel relieving angles and lintels were also completed to reinforce the building’s integrity and extend its service life.

A major component of the project was the complete replacement of the parking deck, including new concrete placement and updated striping to improve traffic flow and organization. To meet modern security and access requirements, we installed an advanced parking control system featuring automated gates, automatic switch plates, and card readers for efficient and secure access management.

Interior work focused on strengthening key structural elements and constructing a new vehicular ramp to enhance access to the upgraded parking area and main entrance.

With these extensive renovations now complete, the Mark A. Constantino Judicial Center stands as a revitalized, secure, and highly functional civic facility—fully equipped to support Staten Island’s legal community for decades to come through its modernized infrastructure and enhanced public‑service capabilities.
