In 2015, the total value of construction projects started in the Denver metro area broke a 10 year record, according to Dodge Data & Analytic. Companies started $6.4 billion worth of projects.The type of development has also shifted. Ten years ago, non-residential buildings dominated — like hospitals and warehouses. Now, residential construction, especially apartment buildings, are driving growth.
